Behind the more than 12,000 patients we've helped worldwide isn't just experience — it's internationally audited and proven quality systems. Every standard, every accreditation exists for your safety and your comfort.
Joint Commission International (JCI) is a prestigious accreditation awarded only to hospitals that meet the highest quality standards worldwide. Our partner clinics hold and renew this certification on a regular cycle. A JCI review covers more than 1,000 criteria — patient safety, infection control, medication management, clinical processes and staff competency among them.
Clinical processes across our partner network are documented to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and verified through regular audits. This standard ensures systematic quality assurance at every step — from patient intake to operating room preparation, medical waste management to patient satisfaction tracking. Maintained through annual internal audits and independent external audits every two years.
Operating rooms are equipped with negative-pressure air systems, HEPA filtration and hourly environmental monitoring compliant with CDC and WHO standards. Surgical instruments are single-use or sterilized via autoclave in a central sterilization unit, and every operating room undergoes full decontamination between procedures.
Imaging systems (MRI, CT, digital X-ray), surgical robotics and anesthesia equipment are sourced from world-leading manufacturers. Robotic-assisted surgery, 3D imaging-supported planning and digital patient tracking form the core infrastructure of our partner facilities. All equipment undergoes periodic maintenance and calibration per manufacturer protocol.
Every physician in our partner network has a minimum of 10 years of experience in their field and regularly attends international conferences and training. Operating room nurses and technicians complete at least 40 hours of mandatory professional development every year. HR standards are structured to meet JCI staff-competency criteria.
A multidisciplinary safety briefing — the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist — is held before every procedure. Medication verification, barcoded patient wristbands, dual-physician sign-off and in-theatre logging keep the margin for error to a minimum, while patient privacy is protected in line with GDPR and equivalent data-protection standards.
HealthBooking doesn't hold these itself — every clinic in our network is checked against this list before being accepted as a partner, and reviewed periodically after.
